Default Orange blobs for pike

Hi Guys

Has anyone else found jack pike cant seem to help themselves with this fly ??

I discovered this whilst trying to catch perch ! I found an orange blob (standard size 10) fished on a Di 3 in the canal with a slow figure 8 retrieve deadly for small jacks.

Funny i've tried fishing it slow on floating line without success the key seems to be deep and slow ??

A good allrounder in my mind... wouldn't be without an orange fly!
