A bit of top water action last night from this gurgler tied on a 3/0 Sakuma Manta, the underbody is grizzle hackle and rather too much red magnum rabbit zonker . I originally tied it for bass but was told it wasn't subtle enough... so I kept it for the less discerning pike!

I watched the pike stalk this beauty for a good couple of minutes which included a recast before the most electrifying of strikes....

Good one , cant beat a surface strike
