Default Beginners luck?

Went out on Friday for my first real go at the Pike.

First cast and this guy grabbed my fly as I was about to lift off and cast again!

Nothing else for the rest of the day.

Beginners luck eh? I am really pleased with it and now have the Pike feaver!

Was out again today but not a touch.

Debs..

Well done getting a pike on your first go, It took me a looooooot of hours to get one. Just wait till you get one that has it's heart set on pulling you in! Beautiful markings on that fish too.

Whereabouts were you fishing? It looks ace.
