well you would be thinking wrong mr billy bunter some people like to fish for them and are willing to pay the expensive rates charged by the trout waters to fish for them a lot of our members fish grafham every season as well as our event and i think the number of zander in there would supprise you and theres pike and good perch in there to we do hear of some of the smaller zander being taken by some of the trout lads but i believe its in the rules that they can take them up to a certain size if they have a season ticket i think ??? im sure some one will put that wright if its wrong lol there was a good few caught at last years event so i think / now we are far from waisting our time all the best pike_fly_angler.

I think 3lbs is the upper limit to take zander, bigger than that they have to be put back. Sometimes you get a bigger one deep hooked but you have to hand that to the wardens if it has to be killed.

If you can find one to catch and you are inclined to take one.
They are fast becoming an extremely rare sight in Grafham these days so if you do catch one please put it back as I'd like the chance to catch one.
