Default 18lb Carp on the fly

Angler B Christie caught and returned a beauty of a common carp on the fly today and it was carefully releqsed back into the coarse loch to grow even bigger. It took a while and put a fair bend in his rod and added some spice to catching such a large and strong beautifull specimen and satisfaction of seeing it swim away happily.
He has had a few carp on the fly his heaviest was 26lbs but with the warm weather they are more ready to take a fly and cruising about very well.

second the vote for a piccy was he using proper flies or bait on the fly rod?

can I ask you guys a question? does working at a fishery every day ever exhaust your enthusiasm to fish?
