Default Fly Carp Competition

I was watching Tight Lines on sky this week with Peter Cockrill. They were talking about a competition at Willinghurst Fishery in Surrey which was a Fly fishing for Carp competition.

I know it used to be a still water and it's a bit of a muddy pond venue. But this sounds something a little different.

I will give them a call next week, but has anyone else heard of this?

Well it's a good sport this time of year when the fish are feeding high in the water. I've caught many on my fly-rod when the kids fancy a bit of coarse fishing. They may not leap, but they go like trains!
