Er'e tez,got me a pasty carp






There was a chap fishing not far from me using bread.I could see carp rising to the bread and taking the odd piece(hell of a SUCK-GULP they have ) at the time i was having fun roll casting small black ants to rudd.Watching these carp feed for a while i tore off a small strip of loose foam strip,(the white double sided sticky they use in fly selection packs) then stuck on a sze 8 barbless hook and threaded the foam strip on.

Method,well just a light rollout and drift,, GULP-Strike! up comes a mouth,hook down fish on HELL UP!!!! Took five carp but only had enough battery for one pickb Buggers fight well!

Now the 'fly-bait' debate... The guy next to me was'chumming',the foam strip is whats known to me as a 'Cornish crusty pasty emerger ' only found around Cornish granite,and fly packs but tied-threaded onto a hook by me a true born & bread-bred Cornisman
