Thats a lot of water , which broad?
General advise this time of year , stick around the edges , are you deadbaiting , spinning or fluff chucking?
Work the edges of reed beds and inlets particularly if you can see a drop off . Cant be more specific without any more detailed location.

We're picking up our boat in Horning.

We don't know which broads we should fish, hence the question.

I'll be fly-fishing (this is a flyforum)

Stick to the river close to or in the boat yards.
Good luck you may need it.

Oh i might have realised that, however you could be after pike by different methods.
GOOD LUCK!

Thanks for the advice guys

We had a great time, although the pike were a bit thin on the ground the general size of those we encountered was impressive.

We had 1 to the boat of about 15lb on Sat. On Sunday the temp had dropped quite a bit and we had nothing until last knockings just outside the boatyard when a big momma of 20lb + came up out of the water after a lure. She missed it unfortunately but that was enough to ensure we'll be back.

Cheers,

John
