Hi folks,

Im looking to do a bit of fly fishing for pike on loch lomond but obviously with it being such a large water im not too sure where to go any pointers as to where the best areas are would be much appreciated.

Or even better pm me with details as i realise most people don`t want to reveal their hotspots on a public forum.

I used to fish there with bait and it was slow enough that way !

Look for anywhere with water less than 15 ft deep and preferably big weed beds. Then fish round the weed or over the edge of drop offs...

You probably would be best advised to hire a boat and get a chart. Then look for the out of the way bays etc in the southern section of the loch.

Dont forget a life jacket.
