fishing the river weaver on a fly and you get some real nice cub

and i think this is a bream caught on a still water pond outside my house

that is a lovely golden rudd not a bream and fish of that size are becoming more rare these days. i love fishing for rudd on the fly very good fun you should get out there on warm evenings for them it will be excellent practise at landing the fly right where you want it, thats what i fish for them for anyway

i thought it was a roach for awhile.. but it was too golden so i though ti twas a small bream!
