Default goldfish

Just out of curiosity, has anyone ever caught a goldfish on fly as we have some around 2lb over here and all different colours in a little lake about 5 mins from my house.

If someone has caught one what flies did you use.

Cheers, Dave.

Caught one on a bloodworm variant fly.

Thanks for that Richard, I will try tying some of those.

Cheers, Dave.

Think it was a size 12 I tied this on.

Body: Red thread
Tail: Red Marabou
Then coat in red varnish and allow to dry then coat of clear varnish.

I fished it on the bottom and twitched it every 10 seconds.

Just a shame I've never caught a trout on it. Only had coarse fish so far.
