Any one else excited about tomoz? First day of the season and my first atempt to get aChub on the fly. I'm like a coiled spring.

I've got to wait til after work but got the spinning rods and a bag of lures in the car already. I too am after a chub on a fly but not today. Perch, chub and pike on wood, plastic and steel are the targets tonight.

Well so much for being like a coiled spring. TWANG water pump went on the car. I'm now decorating while the car is repaired. Ho Hum.

I feel your pain. I had a week's holiday from work at the end of May. The clutch went on the car and I couldn't get it done for about 5 days and it did nothing but rain every day while I was stuck at home.

Inspite of the car gods being against me the mechanic elf was on form and by 17.00 I was on the river fishing.
Caught my Chub only 8oz but it was a start.
