Having a chuck with the pike fly when I noticed something light coloured heading through the water. Turns out it was half of a decomposed fish. The other half was inside this girls gob. Had a few casts to her but no real interest.

The photo doesn't do it justice. I've seen a few pike in my many years. This was big.....

What was the length roughly ?

Hard to say, mate, but well over 36". Think it would be safe to say it was a very good 20 something.......

I just hope that rotting fish in it's mouth wasn't some tossers deadbait. Pretty sure it wasn't.
