Default Lechlade Carp!

Was fishing with a friend at Lechlade yesterday, and the trout were really not playing ball!! my friend hooked a large fish which he initially thought was a big brown. finally got it into the net, and it turned out to be a large common carp! Hooked fairly in the mouth on a 1.5 inch heavy marabou damsel!! we returned it without weighing, but estimated it at about 17-18lb! I'll post a piccy if i can.!

There are loads of coarse fish in there. Interestingly (or not) yesterday we had one brownie (10lb 10oz) one carp c18lb and one pike (c10lb) we saw literally hundreds of roach, and perch also.

Here's a photo of the carp.

Have you uploaded the picture to Photobucket or another web-site first?
