I live in st helens and am after places to fish for pike on the fly any places will be of great help the closer the better but willing to travel

Join the PFFA, it will be worth it for you and you will meet some good fly rod pikers. It is only £10 a year.

You might get someone willing to point you in the right direction via PM, but I'd be surprised of anyone will name venues on a public forum.

I don't know that part of the world, but I imagine you'll have a comprehensive canal network which would be a good place to start, you might pick up the odd Perch too.
