Yes Bob I do know Thry quite well, seeing as I used to fish with you
I bought that old Marryat reel off you that you won at Thry, had my pants down with that didnt ya
I have one of your big red and white epoxy headed flies(out of the trees at top of the neck you mentioned)
Water level is about 5 foot down at the moment, lower than you would remember at summer level, but they still wont admit there is a leak Funny that as it comes under the reservoir act and would have to be fully emptied or repaired eh must be down to summer evaporation and wrong kind of winter rain
Hows the Bass fishing over there mate, cracked it yet

Hey Orvist3er, I'm getting old ,you'll have to put a photo on and admit to a proper name for me to remember
I vaguely remember a marryat reel , it must have been a bargain as I usually just about give stuff away
That dam wall was leaking years ago, must have got worse, mind you UK is always bleating about lack of water yet it rains 24/7 , I think we have more water here and it only rains in winter !
I have the bass fairly well sorted, best one so far 7lb 8oz ,if you are over on hols drop me a line and I'll take you out ,
Regards Bob

Only joking about reel Bob, paid as much for a new spool as I did for reel off you
I'm Fireman John's son, used to tube with Stewart Booler, the other fireman with bust ankles
Still a good fishery for the money, got rid of that obnoxious park manager, only need to get rid of Alan now
Kath has gone, the only decent one there
