Default Braid for leader

I use Power Pro braid for all my pike fishing, both lure and deadbait.

Is there any reason why braid shouldn't be used as a leader when fly fishing for pike?

TIA

Yeah it is to soft and thin and will not be able to turn over the large flies .

No prob , some use regular mono some fluorocarbon , is personal choice , I use f/c , Seagur Ace in 25 lb mostly >> Seaguar Ace Hard Fluorocarbon - 25.5lb - Fluorocarbon - Leaders but I also use the 19 and 30 lb depending on where I am fishing and how big the flies are .
