Default Re: jacks

Just been thinking of that today.
I have caught hundreds perhaps thousands of jacks from my local canal but never on the fly.
Was going to give it a bash this week.

Default Re: jacks

Me too fellas, a canal near me in lancs has a really good head of pike, I have had a lot more success fly fishing than spinning for them, got one and lost one on boxing day morning for a couple of hours. They are right under the near bank a lot of the time too. I am going to be changing my name on here in next few days as we already have are frien tailingloop from over the water, and new name will be pike based, love fly fishing for them, gonna do tonnes of it next year,
All the best , Gaz.
