Default Lancashire Carp on fly

Hi,

Fished Bradshaw Hall fisheries today. Bradshaw Hall Fisheries, Coarse Fishing, Day Ticket Waters, Bolton
I think a hard days fishing was had by most with very few fish coming out. I had a bream on a bloodworm pattern from lake two and a carp around 6lb from lake one on a bread deer hair pattern.
In general, the place has a few problems, but the management are quite aware and are active in there approach.
Casting is an issue, lots of tree's, but there are some clear spots where rollcasting isnt necessary.
Nice day out.

Dave

The place has had a lot of problems for a lot of years, in the main due to poor management, over stocking and a total disregard for fish welfare.

Plenty of other places to fly fish for carp in lancashire.
Wrightington fisheries.
High Heyes farm.
Orcheton.
They are some of my preferred choices, all with 10 minutes of the M6 jcn 27.

Not meaning to have a go about your day (I just think that one film crew for a day on bradshaw hall would turn public opinion against fishing very quickly!!).
Well done on your catch though, especially the bream.

It was a nice day out.
It is the nearest fishery to me, besides Raygill. In future I will try out the few in north/west yorks.
