Default Drennan green pike wire knot?

As title, I have some of this that I used to crimp, but fancy making up a leader for canal pike, only expecting jacks

What's the best knot for this, it's nylon coated multi strand stuff

Cheers

As emerger points out you will have to crimp it trace is wire available that is thin enough and pliable enough to knot...I tend to feel that crimps are best very rarely coming adrift whereas knots frequently break or slip..

If you use a pair of pliers you should be able to do most of your favourite knots, I've tied a totally secure and unslippable blood knot with the stuff - you need some force to pull the knot closed though, which is where some small pliers come in handy. Still, works for me - I just leave traces on the flies, then change fly and trace in one go when needed.

(I have a spool of the same stuff - Drennan green pike wire, 20lb)
