I knew there were Carp in the lake, but did not expect to catch one. Size 12 Diawl Bach. Take was very slow, I thought, ahm, what's this, then a down to the backing.
Nice fish returned safely

That is a nice looking carp its fins look almost perfect, bet that fish fought hard!
In america they deliberatly flyfish for carp as well as other species, I have read they do like hares ear nymphs.
