Another species on the fly. Well caught.
I've had many a minnow on buzzers though one did me a favour one day. Using size 18 black gnat, minnow took the fly then spat it out, imediately a rainbow dashed in and took the fly. I don't think the rainbow would have bothered but for the minnow as it hadn't looked at the fly ealier.

Looks like a Bullhead. I used to catch loads of pike on them when I was younger. I think they are protected now.

Yup, was out bugging yesterday hoping for a one last Lady, but other than the Bullhead i fooled a brownie and had an epic battle with a nice Chub!

Nevermind, The double figure Pike on the 8wt this afternoon more than made up for it
