Question Looking for "Wolves" or "Ladies" - SW Scotland or Cumbria.

Heading down to Penrith Thurs (early) AM this week and wanting to stop on the way for some sport. So I'm looking for recommendations for a Pike or Grayling water/beat either with reasonable access and good bank roaming (I won't know the water so I'd like to be mobile).

Still inexperienced with this Pike stuff but I have successfully landed and chinned a few smaller beasties so I'll be fine on the bank. Might need a hand in the boat so I'll consider a guide with affordable boat hire/guide for the day on a Pike water. I'm happy on the river for either Grayling or Pike.

Locations need to be within striking distance of the A74M corridor in Scotland or the M6 not going too far past Penrith.

Thanks for your time and hopefully suggestions.
