I am about to get another outbound for piking, has anyone used the shorthead version and if so is there any benefit over the STD line for chucking pike fluff?

The short version will load the rod with a lesser amount of line outside the rod tip which will be beneficial if you are fishing from the bank and have obstacles hindering your back cast.

I use the outbound short for my floater.great for casting big flies.
use a std outbound intermediate which can also cast well.expensive lines but they are the best i have used for pike or saltwater.cheers.steve
