Default Funky Fibre Pike flies

Got some Funky Products from Toby to tie up some pike flies with

Big generous hanks a full 12 " of material

Synthetic flies aren't really my thing ... but I found the funky fibre/ hair very easy to use

I was able to tie a good range of sizes of flies utilizing the funky hair for the tail section and funky fibre for the body
8mm 3d sunburst eyes for the larger patterns. hot orange shimmer and mirage tape eyes for the smaller ones all held in place by bug bond

I'll be testing these on Sunday from the kayak

Tied on a 2/0 tiemco ..approx 4 " long

Again on a 2/0 tiemco approx 4 " long

This ones tied on a short shank 6/0 live bait hook .. behind the sunburst eyes I've tied in a 6.5 mm dumbbell so the fly swims hook up and will dive if I stop the retrieve

This ones about 10" long tied on a 6/0 Gama

I used red Funky silky fiber behind the eyes

Great flies Andy they will cut through stained/murky winter waters very well.
You might have you hands full casting the 12 inch flies from the yak though.
