Default Wolf Bait

Evening All,

I haven't posted a fly in a while so here's what I tied up after recieving some wolf fur from Artic Wolf...

It's a 'Whistler' varient that suited the texture of the fur very well, it's great stuff to work with.

all the best

Derek....sorry my Irish friend but you must be full of the 'blarney' Click the image to open in full size. ..no dout...because ..since when does a "Fly" not become a fly...but a 'bait'..and isn't that the idea why a 'fly' was made in the first place?

..here in NAmerica we fish for fish, any and all species be them fresh or salt water, with 'flies', whether they represent insects,or bait fish, but..this thread belongs in the fly tying forum m8, so all those who might be thinking of tying flies with the fur from an Arctic Wolf, just might see how versatile the fur can be.................AW

..and so I can once again pay tribute to a very beautifully tied "Fly"...

Thanks again lads

Toby, you'd be correct my friend, that's funky fibre on the back and the eyes are yours and I've used Bug Bond on the head.

I'd be delighted if you'd have it for your site.
