Default A dream of jewelled fishes by John Ashton

What a charming little book, the tale of one anglers evolution, his thoughts, reflections and opinions. I read this on my holidays and found it easy to read but incredibly hard to put down, Mr Ashton has i very simple style of writing but it is terribly evocative, you cant help but identify with the obvious obsession he has nurtured since boyhood...

if you enjoy chris yates work then i think you should enjoy this..

I agree. One of the best fishing books in recent years, in my opinion.

Agreed, a very good book indeed. I think he's working on "ADOJF Episode 2" right now.

Even better news, he posts on here from time to time under the name "Grayson"...you'll know why that name was chosen having read the book.

His name is John Aston, I believe ?

The book is an excellent read; and the guy that wrote it is a true Gentleman!

Thanks John, for the signed copy!
