Default Oh I hope this is the right place to put this.

Chaps and Chapettels. I've got a new post for my blog (see the link in my signature below). Please tell me what you think of all of it and don't hold back. I have pipe dreams of publishing a sort of novel. I want it to be a combination of Bridget Jones, Blood Knots and something by Charles Rangley-Wilson. Alos let me know if there is a topic you would like me to write about, anything you would like to hear more of, etc. Thank you all so, so much in advance.

OK, miss Fizz,

I think your Blog is just brilliant; and being a Dad of a young lady such as yourself, I enjoyed reading it! I'm sure others on this forum will also like your site!

Regards

I read your blogs< to be honest i wasnt expecting much. I was geniunely supprised to find that i not only loved your writing style and enjoyed the depth of your references. But i was laughing out loud, which is rare. I dont know if its your personality that comes through, but the one that does is a great companion, dont lose that personal edge to it.You could describe threading up a rod and make it interesting.
Keep it up, its wonderful. I'd buy a book if I knew it was written like that.

Hi Polly,
....For me the choice is simple: maggots are yucky, fur and feathers are pretty and don't wriggle. it was genial and jolly and felt little less of a ****.
I spent far too long talking to a boy on a bicycle......

Read this last night, you had me smiling... well done.

Loved it, read the blog twice. Look forward to the next installment.
I'm no literary genius, but I find it quite insightful. At the moment your writing portrays your femininty. Without going down that road of feminism.

Portrays the differances between men and woman. Without the need for that old chesnut that a woman has to be twice as good as a man to be taken seriously.

Some quite memorable lines in there to."Started with a curry and ended with a kiss". Very hot chocolate that one.

Of course I'm a bit poncey so my opinion may count for nothing.

Very engaging! And you seem to be aware that "less is more".

Not sure if you meant to miss out the word "I" and the word "a" here: " it was genial and jolly and _ felt _ little less of a..." Common in informal writing, and often do it myself, unconsciously (two examples in this paragraph alone), but it occasionally makes for confusing reading.

I'm genuinely, utterly and completely gobsmacked by all that you have to say. It was all started on a whim and I've enjoyed writing it. So I shall definitely keep it up. I think it's time I wrote about fly tying. Shepeil, good spot. I shall correct it presently.
Thank you all so much. And do send requests for topics.

Pxx
