Hello,

I have bought a copy of William Blacker's Art of Fly Making (It's a facsimile edition of FFCL).It became my Bible shortly.I'd like to know everything about Mr Blacker but I didn't find anything on the internet.I have read Andrew Herd's Fly and there are some valuable sentences about him.I know,The Medlar Press will publish a book about famous (giant) fishermen recently but I'm a nozy man and I'd like to collect everything what there is in context with him (articles,monographies,portrait,etc).

There is a lot about Blacker in Malone's book on Irish trout and Salmon flies. Also he writes about Ettingall? a lot. The latter wrote a treatise on flies to use throught the year.
