The Compleat Mystery

Hi guys I know one of you will be able to solve this one. I have just purchased a copy of the compleat angler which was published in 1887. There in lies the problem I can find no others published that year, it was published by John Lane and is illustrated by Edmund H New. cheers for any thoughts. JB
