Default Coch_y_Bonddu Books

On the advice of some members on this forum I have used Coch-Y-Bonddu Books for the first time. I've ordered quite a limited edition book with them this morning and have recieved an e-mail saying they will check their stock and get back to me! Is this normal practice with this company?. I would have thought they would only advertise books they had in stock ready for posting. JB

As a previous responder has said, they are a trader who command huge respect for their professionalism and I have always had great service from them.

I recall one incident where I ordered a very limited edition book from them on-line and I received a call to say that one had been sold - would I like another one they had in stock. I'd suggest that the response you've received is a cautious one and one that reflects their trade - have you ever been to a Hay on Wye bookshop foir example ... how do they stock control?

I would have absolute confidence in their integrity.

If you have any problems (which I doubt very much) - drop me a PM and I'll pop into the shop in person - it's only down the road.

Paul is a Gent - despite being a river keeper in a former life (bet not everyone knew that!!)

Any problems give me a shout.

I have ordered "Alive On A Rainy Day" by Geoffrey Bucknall. It sounds like he lived quite a colourful life and this book covers some of his memories. He has had to self publish the book and it is limited to 300 hundred copies, hence my worry!

Looks interesting please let us know what you think when you have read it. I see it's got onto the Flea Bay market at a small premium.
