Default TM's Christmas List

Had some cracking books this year:

1) Trout Hunting - The Pursuit of Happiness: Bob Wyatt - a brilliant book with just the right blend of philosophical reflection and insightful gems on how to approach the game.

2) Czech Nymphing and Other Related Methods - Karel Krivanec & Friends. Given the success of these guys - probably the most unselfish treatise on "how to" that I have come across.

3) What The Trout Said - Datus Proper. Not started yet but a quick skim has confirmed this as being a great choice.

Probably translated on google.cz Google

I'm being harsh on the the English edition's publisher more than of Karel who's content is superb.
I found it, and others have, to be tedious reading. I wonder who bought it for you and for what motive?

Hi Bruce... it is a bit dry in places, but it is full of excellent information and insight. Lots of info on leader set-ups etc, really good stuff I'd say.

My mum - bless her - ordered mine from Coch-y-Bonddu. Excellent service as always.
