Default Tactical Fly Fishing - J. Lucas

I sent off a cheque with a pre-order form for the above book following on from my visit to the BFFI in November.

I have not heard anything since, does anyone know when the book is to be released, I understood it was to have been the end of November?

This book is definitely on my 'to get' list and it was due for release 'end of November'.

Why not contact Jeremy through his website?

I believe this book now has the (slightly ridiculous) publication date of the 25th of December. So it should be with you soon.

The book arrived today

Something else to look forward to reading over the next week or so (including the latest issue of Waterlog which I put to one side for Christmas).

Hopefully I will manage a days fishing somewhere as well next week, that WOULD be an unusual treat for me

I am no doubt going to get pelters for this because the man is so revered but has anyone else been hugely disappointed by this book?

The book is entitled "Tactical Fly Fishing : A Guide for the Advanced and Competition Angler" and I found it disappointing because I didn't consider there was much in it which most advanced or competition anglers would not already know. For me the book failed to live up to its title.

Having got about 60 per cent of the way through my copy - thanks guys for confirming it's not just me...

It's not a bad book at all, but doesn't do what it says on the tin.
