Welcome to the forum, not always a good way to introduce yourself let people get to know you a bit first we are really a nice bunch.Unfortunately I do not know any book valuers but I am sure some will .You could also google the titles you have for valuation and see what prices come up especially e bay etc .

Where do you usually fish?

Ooops! I regularly fish the river eden in fife, having returned to fly fishing after a few years off. I think getting married this year has had something to do with needing to spend a lot of time outdoors! I generally fish light weight kit 2/3 weight lines dries and nymphs (not a total purist i do a bit of trotting occasionally). Also i probably spend as much time reading fishing books as i do at the water ( a couple of 3/4 hour sessions a week).

One cheap way is to type in the ISBN number into Abe books website and you will find out what dealers ask. Depending upon the condition of your books knock off about 20% (their margin) and you have arough approximation.

If you use Bookfinder, their search facility covers all the major online book listing sites (Abebooks, Amazon, Alibris etc. etc.)

http://www.bookfinder.com/

Just treat the listed results with some caution as sometimes the higher priced copies are computer generated prices from chancers who don't actually have copies.
