Czech Nymph and Other Fly Fishing Related Methods by K.Krivanec is an excellent book for modern czech nymphing methods. It goes through history, tackle, techniques, tying techniques and materials, patterns and other associated methods such as french nymphing and braid methods. Lots of pictures and diagrams and over 100 patterns photos and dressings. I got the first edition a couple of years ago and i think its been updated twice since with extra inserts. Got mine from Coch-y-bonddu books www.anglebooks.com was £14.99.

Hope this helps
Jonathan

I go with the above, and perhaps take a look at Flyfishing for Grayling by John Roberts, published nearly 10 years ago now, but covers Polish and Czech Short Nymphing.

It is also, or was, required reading for all England team members.
However I found it difficult to read and couldn't put it down fast enough.
Maybe the prose read somewhat better in its original Czech?

Coch-y-Bonddu is run by Paul Morgan who compiled 'The Lady of the Stream':

A bit pricey - but it is leather bound and signed by Paul.

Agreed. The translation is abysmal!
