Default Fishing books for Kindle?

OK.....Mrs Jeff bought me a Kindle thing after noticing a few peeps on here rather liked them. Getting used to it, liking it so far Only grumble, confirmed by a quick bit of research leading to similar grumbles on amazon forum, is that the screen is a bit dull and can't be made brighter (its not backlit, so nothing to brighten as such) - apparently the new models have a duller grey background than the old one did - it does seem a tad dull I have to say, so I made the font bigger to compensate. Anyway, question....a quick browse on Kindle store didn't seem to reveal a massive fishing library in kindle type format - any recommendations from people? Doesn't have to be specifically about fly fishing, any fishing will do, travel/adventure fishing always a good read too.

(To get me going (non fishing book) I've just downloaded a Jack Vance novel - Blue World. Used to read quite a lot of his stuff years back so thought I'd dip in again)

ps - Yes, I am already aware of Where Bright Water's Meet from here thanks!

Default Re: Fishing books for Kindle?

Get this.

calibre - E-book management

Click on the down arrow on the Get Books icon, go to stores and archive.org. On arcive.org type in fishing or fly fishing and go through the books and download the ones you want. They are old and out of copyright but are interesting reading. If you just go to Get Books and type in fishing or fly fishing you will get books that are free and also paid to get from low to high prices.
