What is the best fly fishing book in the world I wonder? My suggestion "Even brook trout get the blues" - John Gierach.

Any other ideas out there?

Another vote for The Longest Silence.

If you extend the definition to take in books where fly fishing is featured prominently in the plot, then I'd say A River Runs Through It, by Norman Maclean.
