Default The loch fishers bible by Stan Headley

My first fishing trip over the border convinced me of one thing - I've got a hell of a lot to learn about loch fishing.

Would this book be a good place to start or are there better about - or even books with a decent section on loch fishing?

That book sits next to my Falkus books on the shelf.
It is a fine read for the lough /lake /llyn fisher, even parts aplicable to drifty boat rainbow fishing .
Like the Falkus books it gives you a outline to fish around and evlve your own ways .
There are also Dennis Mosses book which I enjoyed and found informative .

I agree with ACW. Loch fisher's bible and Dennis Moss's Trout from a boat are both excellent and gave me a lot to think about.

I bought this book from Amazon a few weeks ago and must say I have a hell of a lot to learn, very in-depth information on lochs, how to fish them, the trout and their feeding habits; it's a must have.
