Default Lou Steven's.

Anybody familiar with this author/writer/fisherman.
He has nine books to his credit, and another on the way, they look very interesting.
One of his books. http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Small-Stream-D...-/170574088605

I couldn't get on with his works either; although I do have a copy of 'Trout and Terrestials' somewhere.

Can you be a bit more explicit please Jim.
Was it because he likes small stream stuff mainly, or another reason.

Jim,

Does he write about American streams and waterways in : Small Stream Dry fly? The review of this book states his writing is about the streams of the UK.

Would you say there is a narrative, or more of an instructional guide?

I have Lou S Flyfishing-tactics on small streams. It's about chalk streams, small rivers and rough streams (quote). Spiders and varients are mentioned quite fully. I would not say the text is necessarily american. Reading it through, I think he understands completely our rivers and streams. Just my opinion.
