Default 'Chalkstreams - Fishing the Perfect River' - Any good?

I enjoyed his last book but has anyone read this one?

I read the previous edition dating from 2007 and was just a little disappointed with it. Lots of long quotes from writers of previous generations, who I am tempted to call "the usual suspects...". The descriptions of what's happened to some of the little Hertfordshire and Buckinghamshire chalk streams are quite sad but worth reading.

Perhaps the addition of modern colour plates will enliven it a bit.
