I think it is a shame that you can now buy fake covers off eBay

Don't think they will be up to much, as each new edition came out so the titles on the inner leaf changed, so there is no way they could fake a first edition thank god.

They're a nice little series and I've been tempted by a few of the titles myself. The dust-wrappers seem to be very important to the serious collectors of these books which is why there are a lot of facsimile dust-wrappers around. It's usually pretty easy to spot a fake though, if you're bothered about that kind of thing.

I'm not fussed by the condition of the DW as long as it pretty much whole. Some of the titles go for whopping prices a copy of specimen hunting went for well over £100 on ebay recently. Then theres the match fishing and fishing in ponds books that go for a fair bit too. I am really only interested in the game fishing ones. I have a small but satisfying row of them at the moment but would now like the ones above for a "complete" game fishing set.
