Thought to help blow off those cobwebs and get the season off to a bang I'd arrange a Southern Forum Meet for all of you.
I've arranged with Meon Springs that the forum can meet up there on the 10th March 2012 to have a bit of a crack chew the fat and take the mick out of each other.
If you don't know the fishery it's near Petersfield Hampshire, is a great little fishery, really clear water ( literally like Gin today ) and if you mention my name you get free tea and coffee all day
Their website is here, and it's great value thanks to their pricing policy where you pay for the visit, and get a two fish ticket, and if you blank, the two fish ticket carries on to your next visit so you only pay the visit fee.

This is a very relaxed event, no need to book ahead or send me money, it's not block booked, just turn up and fish as per normal punters, I've just organised and booked a day when we can all turn up together.
If anybody wants casting tips etc when I'm there I won't be charging, but as it's free, I'm allowed to call you names and push you in the water if you get it wrong
One thing I would ask is if you intend going, please say so on this thread. That way people can be more confident of going along when they see how many of their mates are going so the event is more likely to snowball and be a success, and so I can give the fishery the heads up on approximate numbers.
I have warned Keith the Baliff to expect 20-30 people arguing about spelling, football and accusing each other of being racists at the drop of a hat, so he's well prepared, see you there!
