I took delivery of a Tachyon 10ft #7 towards the end of last season and I can already say that it is my ideal boat rod.
It copes effortlessly with everything from floaters down to heavy sinkers. The design of the blank means there is little compression and absolutely no wobble or vibration when casting. The tip recovery is amazing. This makes for much less tiring fishing and I can happily use it all day.
The finish is immaculate and can be designed to your own requirements.
Steve himself is a pleasure to deal with and I was grateful for some of his advice and guidance in choosing the final design.
Forf the money this rod compares to many of the 'big names' and in my opinion is better than most

Just a quick update, just finished developing my 10'0" #4 neutrino. Blanks are in stock and I'll build a demo as soon as I get a chance. Really nice nymphing rod. Sensitive but still some backbone.
