Default Winston Boron IIx 9ft 5wt for sale

I would like to get the same model but 8.5ft, if anyone if interested in the 9ft.
Condition is mint. Factory built.
£320 including postage within the EU.

There are two 'factory' options on this rod. The Boron I'm selling is with the nickel silver uplock reel seat and burled box elder wood insert. I'm not a fan of the graphite insert and black metal reel seat.

(Sportfish price £479)

Richard, I have this rod and love it. Why are you selling? Have you cast the 8.5ft to compare?

It is a fantastic rod. I love it. I think the 8.5ft is an almost identical action to the 9ft. So why?
Here's the skewed logic.
I need to buy a 9ft 6wt for a trip to New Zealand. For me a 9ft 5wt and 6wt Boron seems really excessive. The rods are just too close. Too much overlap, if you know what I mean. The very idea of it makes me feel guilty. But an 8.5ft 5#? That's a whole different beast and completely justified in the rod collection.
I'm not well am I?

Reading through my posts it has occured to me just how stupid I sound.
I think I should just keep the rod and try to focus my energy on being a little less 'mental'.
