I can thoroughly recommend these Ron Thompson rods, as I have both models, bought early on this year, and have thoroughly enjoyed fishing with them.

Ideal spare rod, or use as I do, number one rod for fishing off a boat, can deliver a long line, you will be pleasantly surprised if you do buy one of these. The only let down is the cork on the handle, but at Ron THompson prices who cares.

I have no connection whatsoever with Barker 12774, just thought I should let the members know that these really are a very good rod for the price. No connection to R.T. either, and would not recommend any other product from them, barring their rods.
