Thumbs up A load of rods to sell!

Hi guys im afraid it is with a little bit of a heavy heart that I have to sell this bunch of rods, they belonged to my father who is no longer physically able to fish and due to a house move there is no space for them. They have all been well looked after and in some instances are unused or harldy used. If any of them take your fancy then please drop me a PM, Im always open to sensible offers, first come first served!

1) Bruce & Walker Hexagraph 7' #3-5 2 pce rod with cloth bag £175

2) Bruce & Walker Hexagraph 8' #3-5 2 pce rod with cloth bag £175

3) Bruce & Walker Powerlite 7' 6' #4 2 pce rod with cloth bag £175

4) Bruce & Walker Powerlite Alaskan travel 9' 3'' #9 4 pce rod with cloth bag £175

5) Orvis Western 2 9' 6'' #6 3 pce rod with tube £50 SOLD

6) Norman Agutter Aberdeen 10' #7 3 pce split cane rod with cloth bag £175

7) Norman Agutter featherweight midge 6' 6'' #3-4 2 pce split cane rod and cloth bag circa 1995 £200

8) Shimano Symetre travel 9' #6-7 6 pce rod with tube and cloth bag £50

9) Custom Split cane 8' #5-6 2 pce rod with cloth bag £100

10) Bruce & Walker collectors edition powerlite 9' 6'' #7 6 pce travel rod in wooden, green baize lined presentation box, series CC93D, serial number 005. UNUSED WITH PLASTIC STILL IN PLACE ON HANDLE. £400

I have a small collection of split cane and greenhart rods that are all without names and had been on display in a rod cabinet but are all useable. If not they would look great hanging from a wall! all £30 each

The last item is an unused hand stiched leather rod tube made by Hugh Grieve originals and is 24'' long and would accomodate a 4pce 8' rod £150

All of these prices include UK mainland postage by courier.

If any of you want pictures I can email them but im afraid I am without a camera at the moment so an Iphone picture is all I can offer!

thanks for looking!

J, I am sorry to hear your dad is not able to fish with you any more.

I think the last time I fished properly with my Dad was when I was about 14/15 but even in the past 10yrs, whenever I go back to SA, he is just too old to join me if I took a Charter.

I am sure you have some truly great memories though

Bests

Tomo,
Rod is fantastic... Managed 3 lovely rainbows at Alderneuk on Sunday and the rod was excellent... Lovely to cast, light and strong when playing fish. Tell your dad it is in good hands and I will look after it as he obviously did... Thanks again!

Hello Jat, firstly let me say how very sorry i am to hear about your father not being able to fish anymore.
I am at the start of my FlyFishing adventure and am looking for my first rod, items 1,2 and 3 on your list are the ones that are interesting me. Would i be able to match a reel easy enough to one of these? I am not sure of branding and such but do realize the rods are very good, so would it take any thing away from the rod if i matched it with a cheap reel?
Also which of the 3 would you point me towards ? I will be fishing small rivers/brooks and some smaller still waters.
many thanks
