What is it about the line you cant get on with?

Sometimes getting a bit more head out works wonders. Try a bit of line slick too if needs be.

Good lines his flaoting lines. I seldom use my other floaters now.

I use a #8 floater on my #7 lines though - what line weight is your rod?

Ben

My rod is a airflow delta 7-8 weight, i cant cast the P,P line, i had a cast with another reel loaded with with snowbee wf floating 8wgt,and cast it a lot more easily and farther, so ive bought a snowbee xs,
some else had a go with the pitsford line he said the line made hard work,,im not sure what he meant by it ,but he knows a lot than me,

Very strange, I have a number of the Pirate's lines and have no trouble at all. It is unlikely, but it may have a fault. I'm sure Stewart would replace it if asked.

Just to clear matters up, the line originally cost £17.50 including postage and was ordered exactly a month ago.

There is no fault/s as far as am aware, however Keith if you are going to sell it on, please ensure there is no twist in the line, by carrying out the instructions given to you after you loaded the line incorrectly and got it all tangled up.

If you have not taken out the twist and subsequently stretched the line, then that will be it, twisted for good.

Also, please double check and ensure you haven't originally loaded the line back to front, this may be why you are struggling, just a thought.

As an out and out beginner having had no instruction, possibly a line with a shorter head like the Snowbee will suit you better.

The Pirate.
