I just bought a Fuji film Finepix S2500HD Digital Camera, Fuji S2500HD - UK Digital

Quality pics and a decent price.

Sounded like a nice camera so hit the link; and Google added this little bit: "*Model availability may differ depending on the country."

Don't recall seeing this before; probably due to the charging system (voltage/plug ends)?

Well i thought it was but i didn't do a good job of crushing it down and it was a pig to get out.It was also touching a nerve and that was a ball of fun

I did try and push it through but it wouldn't have any of it so i put the fly line around it and just give it a good tug and job done

Ouch, never used the super macro yet Dam I paid £200 notes for it when it first came out.

I like the scene selection option, perfect for footie shots and the zoom is outstanding. I did see the same camera in Tesco's for £150 but it was only the s2000.

If you don't want the super-macro there is a cheaper Fuji available with wide-angle and tele/zoom at Currys for under £60.00. I can highly recommend it. My last digital camera was an Olympus Mju which cost around £300 ( a few years ago) and this is way better. Here's an example of what the lens/sensor is capable of.

Of course, it isn't one of these

Leica also do a digital version of the M series which comes in at a little under £5000 - .

This is my preferred camera (1941 Leica 111c). The print behind it was taken with it about 9 years ago. For those interested in such things the lens is a period Elmar 3.5cm.
