Default Pictures of other fish caught on fly gear

Right, lets see your pictures of fish other than trout and grayling that you've caught on fly fishing gear, doesn't necessarily have to be caught on a fly as long as a fly rod was used.

Here's a couple from me to begin with, first is a thick lipped mullet I caught in Bembridge harbour IOW last year, this one I caught on using my greyflex 8'6" 4# but with bread as bait.

Next is a golden grey mullet caught in the entrance to Bembridge harbour, I caught this on a shrimp pattern, it was how I can only guess what it is like to stalk bonefish in clear shallow water.

SC, that's a huge mullet to catch on a 4wt, must've given you quite a lot to do!

Here're some non-trout I've caught in Italy:

Gilt-head Bream

Seabass and Striped Seabream

I've put up some other pics in the Gallery, especially of other species from outside Italy.

kenneth, they are some excellent pictures. I love the fact you can catch gilthead bream on a fly from the shore.
