Default Recognizing specific fish ?

Hi Guys

How easy is it to recognize a specific trout/fish ? Im sure whales can be recognised by patterns on there tails or dorsel fins ??

I caught two pike before christmas a few days apart but caught from almost the same spot ! they were almost identical in size shape ....... however looking at the photo's ........ one of my daughters noticed one had a small scar/cut under its chin also the pattern of spots and eye colours were different !

Wonder if i will recognise "Trevor" (below) if i catch him again ???
